Happy Birthday to you!

It's the 7th day of Chinese New Year. Also known as "Yan Yat". What does "Yan Yat" means?

"Yan Yat" is "human day" in Cantonese, literally. Translated, it means EVERYBODY's birthday!

Moving on to the meaning behind Yan Yat. It is widely believed that on the 7th day earth was created, one of the Goddesses made Human from clay. Thus on the 7th day of Chinese New Year, it is every human being's birthday.

It is also a day when most Chinese families take dinner together, I think.

Happy New Year everyone! I don't think anyone reads this blog anymore (other than those of you who subscribes to my RSS). So hey! This is my first post of the year :D

The year 2010 was great, overall. Great time with the Nuffies, mostly. So much so that my friends complain they don't see me often enough. So this year, I have resolved to see my friends more often.

I don't know what it is but each time I try to blog, I have this urge to write a proper article which results me in not publishing anything at all because I strive for an "informative" piece every time. But aiyah that's not easy to do so screw that.

A while back, actually many, many months back (haha!) I tried micro-blogging (and got chided by my blogger friends lol) so decided Twitter is the way to go for lazy bloggers like me!

I want to achieve 3 things this year :

1. Pick up a new skill
2. Eat more healthily and exercise at least once a week
3. Work-life balance!

I think the work-life balance is applicable to my Singaporean counter-part too. Yang Huiwen! We used to tease each other of not having any friends but I guess what is important is we find the balance in everything we do. That is only because when you are deeply involved in something that you love doing, you tend to shut out other parts of your life OR what you love doing becomes a part of you life. I think the latter is true for most of the Nuffies I know.

I think it's about time I update my blog. It's been a while since the last update. Bad bad blogger!

Anyway the answer to what David and Nic Gan were looking at in the previous blog entry is .. they were looking at the Nuffie girls rehearsing the "Nobody nobody " dance performance for the LG Cookie event we did last month. I have footages (videos and pictures) of the rehearsals and I don't think anyone would be interested in it lah.
